Nigel C Burrows - nb Enseabee

A little bit about me.

During my career I spent the first few years as a bookbinder, then 27 years as a Supplier in the RAF, followed by seven in Saudi Arabia - teaching. Thus financing Enseabee ;-). Then I retired to go boating. After completing the fit- out (all 2400 hours of it) I live onboard at Stone during the winter and cruise the system during the summer.

Enseabee is based on a design by Hal Stufft, an American canal enthusiast. His original narrow boat was called Allegheny but he now lives on a wide- beamed version (Allegheny II) in France. Enseabee is 56ft long, designed for two in comfort with space for more when required. She is powered by a Lister Petter Canal Star 36 and has Mastervolt electronics.

Finally, all I can say is that had I known just how enjoyable this life was going to be I would have started earlier.
