Ken and Claudia Kroeker - nb Prairie Crocus
In May 2002 Ken travelled to England in search of a used boat that would suit our needs. Many boats were viewed but none were found that really fit.
Prairie Crocus was ordered in June 2002 from Liverpool boats, but work did not begin for a full year. The boat was finally delivered November 11, 2003. Prairie Crocus is 57 feet 6 inches in length and is powered by an Isuzu 4LC38 engine.
Ken and Claudia live aboard in Spring (March 1 to May 15 approx) and Autumn (Sept 1 to Oct 31 approx) and spend the remainder of the year at their home in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Prairie Crocus is named for the provincial flower of Manitoba.
