Anne and John Stevens - MV Sara
MV Sara is an Ijselaak, built in the Netherlands as a sailing vessel in the 1920s and converted to a motor cruiser in (we think) the 1960s. She is currently moored at Viking Marine in Goole and is starting an extensive refit, including replacing the very worn and thirsty Mercedes 5.5 litre diesel with diesel-electric drive. Once the refit is complete and our house sold we hope to take Sara across to France and cruise her there for at least a couple of years.
