Jan & Orph Mable - nb Sarni
Owned by Jan & Orph Mable at Oxley Marine on the Staffs & Worcs Canal between Aldersley and Autherley Junctions where she is now moored.
Sarni was originally built in 1987 at Adelaide Dock out of offcuts of steel from other boats. We've owned her since 1994. She is 18ft 6ins long with a 4ft beam. Her current engine is a single cylinder Yanmar PDMX 8hp Diesel. Although tiny, she has a woodburning stove (converted 6ins pipe), boatmans cupboard with drop down table and can sleep 2 (if very friendly).
