![]() Sam Samuells & Lynda Payton - nb Shepherd MoonShepherd Moon is a 58ft trad narrowboat built in 1999 by Riverview Narrowboats on a Measham shell at Barrow-on-Soar. She has a Shire 2001 two litre engine. We have designed her for extended cruising for two people. She has a double cabin aft, with a convertible raised dinette for overnight guests separated by a bathroom and access corridor. The dinette and galley are open plan and are separated by a full height bulkhead/bookcase from the forward saloon. She has 12v/240v (via 1800w inverter) and hot water/central heating is provided by a Alde boiler with a solid fuel stove in the saloon. We live in Stoke Bruerne and moor Shepherd Moon there during the winter months. During the summer we cruise part-time to different parts of the system. Sam is retired and Lynda is a freelance interior designer |
