Each year the club organises a rally of boats to which all members are invited. It is usually held over a weekend in September. For the last few years it’s been at the Blue Lias pub near lock 11 of the Stockton flight on the Grand Union.
Activities at the rallies have included, a walking treasure hunt, boules, games, morris dancing, bring and share afternoon tea, etc. There is also usually a charity auction, musical entertainment, a raffle and a quiz.
Much of the time is spent catching up with old friends and making new ones.
